This is a very lengthy report.

The most unique characteristics of it are the inclusion of

  • some botanical information (p. 38, 39-40)
  • chemical characteristics of Colyer’s Spring “frequented by invalids” (p. 39)
  • mention of the canals and a large swamp – Canaseraga and the adjacent Chitteningo Flats (p. 40-41), with a discussion of its impact on fevers (45)
  • details of the Asiatic Cholera (50) 1832 and Dysentery 1821 (51), Scarlet Fever (53)  epidemics are given
  • mentioned assorted patent medicines and then Thomsonian (52-3), to whom he compares his own methods with
  • mention of Eupatorium local herb as a medicine, with mind-body powers and influences inferred (49-50)
