“A VERY RARE AUTHENTIC OLD IROQUOIS INDIAN RESERVATION CARVED IROQUOIS INDIAN BIRD EFFIGY WAR CLUB FOR CEREMONIAL USE”
This large Old war club of the Iroquois Indians (Seneca Nation) was hand-carved over 100 years ago and comes from a local estate of Iroquois/American Indian relics. The 27″ long club with a 6″ wide head has a beautiful old patina and contains many carved Indian designs including: the Native Carver’s initials “MAF” , a Bow and Arrow, the “Tree of Life”, an Indian Native’s profile, a Tomahawk, a Teepee, and numerous geometric designs. This rare club is a “one-of-a-kind” Reservation Era Ceremonial war club in excellent original condition and is very solid having been carved from a heavy, Northeastern hardwood. The head has one eye hole and 3 spiked carved points that we believe to be bird head/beak Effigies.
